SHARON PINES MINISTRY

Our ministry at Sharon Pines continues to be full of blessings and wonder.  Relationships have been growing with several of the residents, and each time after we worship together, we are given the privilege to offer special prayers for special concerns, to be a listening ear for someone needing to talk, and of course, to be the hands and feet of Christ in the Body of Christ.  How wonderful it is to be reminded how our loving God sees each of us as precious, never to be replicated, and desires the very best for us in every situation, no matter where live, how we think, or what we have done.  We are continuing to be present on the first and third Sundays, from 1:30 pm to 2 pm.  Here’s my hope and invitation to each of you –

Can we develop two worship teams, one group committed to the first Sunday of the month, and one group committed to the third Sunday of the month, to share worship and communion at Sharon Pines?  Because of so many commitments, there have been some Sundays I wasn’t sure if anyone was going with me.  It feels like a minimum of three people, including myself, is a good number to facilitate this ministry for each service.  If there are more than three, that’s an extra blessing for all of us.  Please let me know if you can commit to helping, and sharing God’s love through word and action, with folks who are hungry to be loved, to be recognized, to be part of the family of God outside their walls.  Thanks for your prayerful consideration of this request.
